"And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." Revelation 19:10
How many times have you asked yourself if what you heard prophetically was God, on point, and in fact, coming true? Even the seasoned among us have asked those questions. As I pondered some things before the Lord last night, I birthed this teaching to share with the Body what things we should consider when weighing if a word is accurate, is it coming to pass, and what to do when confronted by a false prophet. I used the examples of Hannah, Joseph, and of course, our Lord and Savior to conclude that if what is written in Revelation is the litmus test for vetting the accuracy of prophecy, we should undoubtedly know what God is saying, what He’s doing, and what our subsequent roles are.
