Apostle Dr. Delisa Rodgers, Th.D.
Delisa Rodgers is an apostle and prophet. She founded The Love Church Charlotte after thirteen years of senior pastoring True Love Church of Refuge. "TLC" is one of Charlotte's authentic apostolic and prophetic training centers where men and women of God from all walks of life have gathered to be discipled, equipped, and established in their calls. Delisa is a tireless laborer in the Body of Christ serving as the president and senior instructor of The Love Church Apostolic College, founder of the Prophetic Mentoring and Counseling Resource Center, President of It's All About Him Media & Publishing, President of Liberty Rivers Industries, LLC., CEO of the T-Shirt Company of Charlotte, Senior Mentor in her Prophetic Mentoring and Counseling FB Group, a prolific Teacher, and Shepherd after God's own heart. Delisa is a passionate apostle/prophet with a mandate to turn the hearts of the children to the Father who equips, trains, and thrusts thousands of believers to their next level of greatness in God. Delisa's scribal grace fuels her passion for writing. An author of eleven published books, she acts as a scribal midwife who assists other scribal gifts to publish their literary works.
Delisa has traveled extensively preaching and teaching the Gospel of the Kingdom. She is a spiritual mother and mentor to many with a genuine heart to see God's people delivered from demonic oppression, freed from generational curses, liberated from religion and tradition, and exonerated from the chains of guilt and condemnation stemming from past mistakes. Delisa holds an Associate's Degree in Religious Studies, a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's in Theology from Tripp Bible Institute. She also holds a Bachelor's in Human Service Studies from Queens University of Charlotte. Delisa earned her doctorate in Theology in December 2020.
Committed to mental health, Delisa is a life-time member of the National Association of Christian Counselors, a Certified Prison Chaplain, and a member of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) and the National Organization for Human Services. Delisa is a licensed and certified Pastoral Counselor and a certified Crisis Prevention Intervention Instructor who trains school district staff in non-violent crisis interventions. Delisa is also the Executive Director of Barbara's Lighthouse, a mental health based community outreach non-profit agency that she founded in honor of her later mother, Elder Barbara Cuyler Richardson.
Delisa is gainfully employed in her local public school system as Trainer and Quality coordinator for the Student Discipline and Behavior Support department. She is also the SHIP (Sexual Harassment Is Preventable) facilitator for the school district and supports the VIP (Violence Is Preventable) alternative education program. Despite working full time, Delisa continues to serve in the work of the ministry with accountability and integrity as the apostle and prophet to her church in Charlotte and as the apostle to Healing Rivers Ministry in Danville, VA. Delisa is humbly submitted to the mentorship of Apostles Theadford and Ernestine Brinkley, Deliverance Tabernacle of Praise, Rocky Mount, NC, and to the fatherhood and apostleship of the 'General' of Deliverance, Apostle Ivory L. Hopkins, Pilgrim's Ministry of Deliverance in Harbeson, Delaware.
Apostle Dr. Delisa has been blessed to raise five beautiful children who support her in the work of ministry: Ashlynn, Adrian, Clyde, Darius, and Joy.
